Amadei - Chuao Bar(Min 70% cocoa) “The name Chuao brings to the mind the legend of Mayan cocoa, a primitive taste, an earthly paradise where the “food of the gods” grows. It wasn’t easy for Alessio Tessieri to purchase and process these beans, and proved even more challenging for Cecilia Tessieri to “tame” the wild bean, which had never been tasted in the pure form. She discovered that after a 20-day aging period, this chocolate – unlike any other – continues to develop and improves its acidity and aroma.”

Original Beans Piura Porcelana(Min 75% cocoa) “Kumquat, lime, apricot, raspberry flavours and notes of toasted pecan.” Through careful replanting, Original Beans are restoring this forgotten strain of amazing Porcelana cacao, discovered growing in Peru. It was thought until recently that it only occurred in Venezuela and Mexico. Original Beans are re-introducing the plants to save this rare ‘forgotten’ strain from extinction.

    Although we endeavour to make our dairy and nut products separately from non dairy/nut products, we cannot guarantee there won't be traces of dairy/nuts in any of our produce. All our bars and chocolates are gluten free, we also make a range of gluten free cakes and gateaux. In most of our chocolate Soy lecithin is used as an emulsifier.
